Iâm here with my March Recap. Hereâs a look at what I read, did, and loved from this past month.

⨠March Check-in â¨
This month was⌠a bit of a whirlwind? Iâve been saying âyesâ a lot which is out of character for me. Yes to social plans. Yes to events after work. Yes to exciting partnerships. Yes to being on podcasts. And of course yes to this newsletter and the rebrand that happened this month.
But⌠I think I mightâve said âyesâ a little too much this month and havenât given myself ample downtime. Itâs always this delicate balance of wanting to put myself out there⌠but also wanting to be in my pajamas reading at 9PM.
This upcoming month I want to be more intentional about what I say yes to â I want to pause before automatically saying yes to various obligations, especially if I know itâs something that will leave me more drained than energized.
đ Everything I Read in March đ
One Day by David Nicholls
Iâve had this book sitting on my shelf for a few years but was intrigued to finally read it after I saw *everyone* talking about the new TV series based on the book.
Emma and Dexter spent exactly one day together right before they graduated college. That day launches 20 years of friendship, love, and a complicated relationship dynamic. We follow them, their life, and their connection through the years â and all the ups and downs along the way.
I think I went into this book expecting it to blow me away. While I deeply enjoyed it, I think I had set my expectations too high and it left me disappointed. Something about it didnât *hit* for me the way I was hoping it would

Bye, Baby by Carola Lovering
Iâve known Carola for a few years now (we used to teach yoga together!) and have been obsessed with every one of her books.
This one is particularly gripping as it follows two best friends from childhood and how the dynamic between them changes as they hit their 30s and one of them becomes a mother. The book starts with quite the bang as one of them kidnaps the other friendâs child. As the book unfolds, we see what brought their friendship to this point.
I loved this book and think itâs the perfect pick if youâve been in a reading slump and need something that will suck you right in.
My Rating: 4.5/5 Stars â
The Most Likely Club by Elyssa Friedland
I had loved Elyssaâs book The Last Summer at the Golden and found this book equally delightful.
Itâs about a group of 4 friends from high school 25 years later preparing for their big school reunion. Life hasnât exactly gone as planned for them, but now theyâre looking to get back on track.
It felt like an adult Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants in the best way. Iâm a sucker for a story about female friendship and how those relationships evolve over the years.

đ Favorite Things from March đ
Going to Great Jones Spa
Whenever my parents are getting me a gift for the holidays or my birthday I always ask for a massage gift card at Great Jones Spa. Itâs the best!
After my massage, I loved hanging out in the water lounge after alternating between reading and enjoying the jacuzzi.
Switching up my work location
For my 9-5 job I work for a fully remote company. While I can technically work from anywhere, I tend to always work from my apartment. Iâve been starting to switch things up and go to a coffee shop to work for a few hours and itâs been really helpful for my productivity. A few favorites to work from so far:
Ground Support in Soho
Felix Roasting Co in Soho
The Moxy Hotel in the East Village
This mint green sweater
Iâve been wearing it on repeat since the weather started warming up.
The Quince Organic Cotton Thongs
Iâve been on the hunt for a simple, cotton, thong and was shocked to find that Quince has a 6 pack of them for less than $30. Theyâre super similar to the Everlane cotton thong which I used to love but I feel like the fabric has changed since they first came out.
Also from Quince: Iâve been wearing this striped polo sweater a ton
Itâs great with leggings and feels a little more elevated than my usual sweatshirt
The best-smelling candle, ever.
Itâs not even lit right now but I can still smell it, it has such a good throw.
Dinner at Shalom Japan.
Iâve been wanting to go to this Jewish and Japanese fusion spot forever. The Matzoh Ball Ramen was as amazing as I dreamed.
These digestive gummies.
Theyâre vegan and made with probiotics and a prebiotic to aid in digestion. They also taste really good.
I *love* this soap.
The smell is SO good at a great price point.
This lavender lip balm
Iâm not big on lip products in general, but I like this balm for a little extra shine and moisture.
Signs of spring in NYC
This is my favorite thing, ever đ¸
Thatâs all for today. See you on Friday for the Weekend Itinerary
