Introducing: Thursday Thingies
a new latte obsession, the dress I've been wearing on repeat, a theater rec, and more
Hiiii friends, let’s try something new today?
Introducing THURSDAY THINGIES! A round-up of 5 thingies from the week, from things I’m loving, to random obsessions, and all the little thingies inbetween.
Sound good? Cool, let’s do it…
☕️ Thingie #1: POCA syrups.
I’m latte girlie through and through. Hot or iced, I’m getting a latte, and yes I’m adding a flavored syrup. I recently discovered POCA which makes these indiviudal sugar-free syrup packets in pistascio, caramel, and vanilla flavors. Sugar-free stuff usually isn’t my thing because I find the after taste to be rough, but NO complaints here. And I like that they’re already individually sized so no measuring needed.
So far the pistascio is my favorite, but the vanilla is a close second.
👗 Thingie #2: This dress (and it’s only $60)
I love a summer dress that you can throw on and feel put together. This is that go-to dress for me right now. It’s so flow-y and comfy but doesn’t feel too sloppy with a pair of sandals and a jean jacket. I have it in multiple colors… and have a feeling I’ll be ordering a few more soon.
👠Thingie #3: Rocky Horror on Broadway
For my birthday my brother, sister-in-law, Jeremy, and I went to see the current revival of Rocky Horror on broadway. Growing up, my brother and I were pretty obsessed with Rocky, I was introduced to it at a young age and we went as a family to see the previous revial in 2001.
I always get so nervous seeing a new take on something I already love, but I was so blown away by this production (and really I shouldn’t be surprised, the director, Sam Pinkleton was my dance teacher in college and has one of the most creative brains out there).
Luke Evans, Rachel Dratch, and Stephanie Hsu were especially standouts for me. But as a whole it’s a fantastic production, and also got me more emotional than I was expecting?!
If you’ve been thinking of going GO!
📚 Thingie #4: DOLLY ALL THE TIME by Annabel Monaghan
I was going to save this book for my bachelorette trip next week… but then I decide to just dive in now. I’m only a little bit into it but it’s already so good. Annabel Monaghan writes romance in a way I just adore, and I love how this one is centered around a woman in her late 30’s who has such an established life already.
I look forward to spending some quality time with this book over the weekend.
FYI — book comes out 5/26!
💦 Thingie #5: Liquid IV Eletrolytes
At the recommendation of my physical therapist, I’ve been starting to have more eletrolytes to help with my endometriosis/ adenomyosis fatigue and symptoms. After trying a bunch of options, this flavor from Liquid IV was voted the fave by both me and Jeremy.
Side note, some people are telling me cane sugar is a no-no with endo. Others are telling me the fake sugars are bad with endo. Some people are telling me sugar is actually necessary for electrolyte absorption. Do with all of this as you please.
That’s all for today. Let me know what you thought of this new format! And will see you later this week for a longer essay

Great round up 💕 I look forward to next Thursday!
Dolly All The Time is next on deck for me.
And I love Drip Drop (electrolytes)! Flavors are GOOD.
